1.压缩审题的时间：
如果说独立写作是闭卷考试，那么你花上3～5分钟的时间去审题，去构思，是很必要的。但是，实际情况是，独立写作是开卷考试，首先题库公开，它的题型和题材都不会超出题库的范围，你总会在题库中找到类似的题目，加之机经的强大力量，使得托福独立写作真的成了开卷考试。既然是开卷考试，大家就应该把审题的工作放到考试之前做，争取在1分钟之内完成，不要浪费时间，把时间用来打字，而不是思考上面。那些思维风暴、切题思路之类的，应该是事先已经准备过，训练过的。如果考到了你从来没接触过的题，只能说明你没有准备到位，如果你的审题时间超过了2分钟，那么你的准备也没有到位，这就是开卷考试的备考思维，满分不是临场发挥出来的，而是准备出来的。
2.“栽赃法”
如果不能保证文章的质量，可以从数量入手，记住我在课上讲过的托福写作黄金法则“the longer， the better”!新东方的学员中曾经有位写作30分的获得者，独立写作30分钟写了600字，拿了满分。当然他肯定有一些不足和错误，可是仍然不影响满分。可见如果不能把文章写得很漂亮，不能写出亮点，那就多写点吧，字数多也是亮点。只要大家按照我上课讲授过的方法来扩充论据，写出“长篇大论”是很容易的事。
3.提炼自己的模板
假设你的文章字数是 400字，那么你大概要写40～50个句子。把这40～50个句子，排成编号，从第1个到第40个，也就是从文章的第一句话到最后一句话，你都知道要写什么，并且知道怎么写，甚至每个句子你都掌握了2～3个漂亮的句式，这样你还担心自己拿不到高分吗?再假设，这40～50个句子，你有50%都已经是固定句式了，也就是成了自己的写作套路，那么你还愁文章写不完么?比如说，我总是喜欢在文章最后一句 话 说 ：In a word, it is rather superficial to simply say that.........+观点，给个真题例子：In a word, it is rather superficial to simply say that parents are the best teachers.用一句话说，简单地认为父母是最好的老师是相当肤浅的。大家想一想，任何事情simply say都可以说是相当肤浅的。因此这句话就是一句比较万能的结束语。这句话怎么来的呢?这是官方题库里的第2篇，是我和大家在课上积累来的。只要大家一起努力，我们一定会成功提炼出自己的高分模版。
4.压缩题库
题库中一共有185个题目，如果说每个题目都准备一篇范文是相当不可取的，效率太低，完全没有必要，压缩题库的方法主要有2种：A.将题库分类。每个分类写1～2篇就可以解决这个类的题目。 B.文章之间的互相转化：
不妨通过这样的例子来说明问题：
TOPIC1：你最崇拜的人是谁?why
ANSWER：毛泽东。原因：A.B.C
TOPIC2：如果你能回到过去，你想见谁?why ?
ANSWER：毛泽东。原因：A.B.C

这样的例子告诉大家，同样的内容替换不同的题目，这是重要的考试技巧。
下面，我列出了六周倒计时提高法，严格按照以下的计划进行，对考出高分也很有帮助。
第一阶段(1周)：随机阅读10-15篇官方范文，每天2-3篇。做笔记，背诵其中有用的词汇以及句型。
第二阶段(2周)：改写10-20篇范文。每天1-2篇。每天睡觉前背诵当天改写过的作文，这个阶段没必要限定每篇完成的时间。
第三阶段(1周)：不限时练习5-10篇，每天1-2篇。一定要不限时，这样才能保证质量。多查字典，反复修改。如果时间充裕，应该多练5-10篇。
第四阶段(2周)：限时练习10篇，每天练习一次，每次限时25分钟完成——只有这样才能在考场上游刃有余。

The final reason why I would love to spend a two-week vacation in Canada is because I am considering attending one of the universities there for my bachelor's degree. I think that it would be an excellent idea to go see the school, and perhaps even meet some of the professors that teach the courses I am interested in. It Would also be beneficial for me to meet other students. By doing this, I could find out how good the programs at the school are, and if it is worthwhile to move across the world for.

Forming personal relationships with one's teachers is also an excellent idea that would be difficult to realize if one did not attend classes. Most of our relationships with our teachers are formed by interaction both in the classroom, and outside it. For example, if a student was constantly at school, either working in the library, or perhaps eating lunch in the cafeteria, it is more than possible that he/she would converse with his/her teachers on many occasions. Developing a relationship with one's teacher is important as it helps one to build his/her business network.
Traditional schools also have the advantage of training students for "the real world." If a student never has to work with others on a project, or report to his/her teachers, he/she will not have a very good grasp as to what it means to work in a team environment or respect authority. The way that school operates forces students to develop these important skills.
In conclusion, I think it would be much more beneficial for all students to attend traditional schools rather than study at home. Attending a school helps students to develop the necessary social skills needed to survive in today's fast-pace world.
