刚刚进入口语备考

口语备考初期,尤其是对于独立口语题目,大多数同学都是15秒进入冥想状态,然后45秒努力的结巴的表达自己,45秒结束后想钻地缝。如果给较多的准备时间和素材,就变成了侃侃而谈到了时间没说完。不用紧张,大家或多或少都有这毛病,一开始的确容易把控不好说多少、不知道要说什么。那么怎么办呢?写下来。

第一次遇见题目自己先尝试做一下,记得录音。如果效果很不好,那么就直接转战小作文写作方式,写一篇回答出来。在这个过程中找出可以说的内容,同时看自己对一个话题的表达到多少这个程度。写完后删减到100字左右,念一遍看看是否能在规定时间读完。如果可以就多次诵读乃至背诵自己删减后的段落。并且每次说的时候,录音计时,感受45秒的时间感和语言感。

当然,一直应用撰写式口语是不行的,毕竟考试的时候只有短短十来秒的时间供你思考,想临场写口语作文那是不可能的。所以经历过3-5道题目的历练后,就不要再依赖笔头,拿到题目仅仅用大脑思考,然后将之表述出来(录音)。

如果这时15秒的时间依旧陷入空白,那么就先用列提纲的方式来准备那么几道题目。在看完问题后,15秒内迅速的在纸上列出答题的提纲要点。紧接着照着提纲回答。

不知道该说什么怎么破

积累语料这个说的很轻巧,但是实际操作的时候内容颇多。很多同学语料积累了但是和题目联系的不够紧密,再加上紧张焦虑来捣乱,经常会出现准备和没准备没什么大差别的情况。但是在提前没有准备、又是考试的情况下没几个人能做到侃侃而谈。所以语料素材的积累还是要做的,托福独立口语备考的时候务必将官方真题Official里的题过一遍(至少要走一下思路),而且建议在刷过一遍后把所有题目都单提出来,放到一起来看,此时你会发现很多题目可以用同一类型的素材内容。从这两遍的看题刷题过程中,你可以基本积累足够所需的语料内容,并且可以形成自己的答题思路,这里列出最简单的模式:

Topic sentence:简单概括问题并提出1-2个论点

First argument:提出第一个论点+ 2-3句话解释

Second argument:提出第二个论点+ 2-3句话解释

Conclusion:用另一种方式复述问题和论点

一般来说,T1的常考话题是:课程学习、校园活动、社交人际、工作职业、个人成长、兴趣爱好、校园设施、社会现象。

T2常考话题:教育学习、阅读、人际交往、社会问题、金钱分配、工作成长、资源分配、个人生活等。

拿到题目后要根据话题,迅速归类,然后想怎么将你准备的这个类别的素材扯到题目上。建议总结好那些万能例子后,写好小段落背下来。并且一定要熟悉题目和段子的归类,这样才能让我们从点进入集合,搜索到后快速匹配。

考试紧张怎么破

考试本来就容易紧张,发言就更容易紧张。就算是外向的同学,你让他一个人在哪里干说他也会很不自在,很紧张。在非对话环境中坦然自若表达需要训练,并且这个技能长时间不用还会退化。所以备考的阶段,我们要想方设法的磨厚脸皮,有机会就在公共场合发言、面对镜头发言。如果没有像演讲、讲课等方面的机会,可以自己开录像模式,准备个话题面对镜头说,这个要比光录音要紧张得多,如果这个能够适应了,那么录音你也会好得多。

此外,如果是特容易紧张的同学,尽量将你的语料啊、套路啊背下来,达到最大程度的提前准备,让自己心理踏实,并且可以灵活的适应考场情况。

总结和转述能力差怎么破

综合口语需要我们将听到的内容整合起来用自己的话说。其实和综合写作是类似的,但转述要求会较低,你可以用更多的简单句表达。总结能力一方面需要我们的理解概括力,另一方面就是需要我们知道答题要点。研究一下高分的回答,看看你和他关注的重点有何不同。而转述方面,需要我们在练习阶段多用功,可以在将大致的内容记下后想两种有差异的表述方式。在这个过程中查阅一些替换的词句,尽力积累下来。

另外,就是注意我们的笔记。要锻炼自己如何记录要点并根据这些要点来展开一段叙述。这需要有两种能力,一个是听的过程中记录上的,记录真正有用的重点内容。另一个就是看着提纲发挥表达的。这样才能够在听完后迅速整理出自己的思路,并展开叙述。

I would definitely support the university’s voluntary program as it benefit student so much. For starters, those community services would give students a sense of responsibility and purpose. For example, I spent quite a while with some primary student last year, helping them with their reading. I observed their way of thinking and what they like or dislike. And I realized how to comfort them when they were upset and encourage them when they fell sorrow. Also, this experience shapes my personality. I became more open-minded and are more willing to communicate with others than before.

The woman’s problem is that she chose American landscape as the topic of her presentation, unfortunately someone else chose the exactly same topic. There are two possible solutions. The first solution is to stick to this topic. And the second solution is to change her topic to folk art. If I were in her shoes, I would choose the first solution. Because as she mentions in the conversation, she’s really interested in American landscape and she knows a lot about it, so even if someone chose the same topic, I’m sure she will still be able to do a great job. I personally don’t recommend the other solution, because choosing a different topic means that she will have to do everything about the presentation from scratch, it’s too much work and a lot of time will be wasted. That’s why in this case, I think the first solution is a better option.
